I and the boys took in the local car show yesterday. Perfect weather and location. Easily over a hundred cars on display. Cars ran from traditional Ford hot rods to the latest street racers.

First pic is of the downtown area where the show was held. Had to stand around for a long time to find the intersection nearly empty. Building on the left is from the mid-20's, including the local movie theater. They are keeping up to date with digital projector and 3D movies.

Enjoy the pics.

I like the Willys!

Funny, but I came across one the other day waiting outside the hospital with the top down... a beige one, all gleaming, shiny and looking like brand spanking new. :happy34: What a great summer fun vehicle! :04::evilgrin10::greet24:

Me and the boys enjoy taking in these small local car shows. There were a number of older cars on display. I enjoy them as much as looking at the custom hot rods.

Interesting - I saw one yesterday, too. At Harbor Freight, of all places. Someone had long since replaced the original engine with a V-8, but it was running pretty ragged. Looked nice, though. Hadn't seen one in many years.
